Thursday’s 9 Ball Competition saw another great turn out of 33 players from 15 different countries and victory for Aussie James Mehdi Mostag.

He was on top form all night long to stay undefeated through five straight matches and claim the 1st Prize of 6000 baht.

In the final he beat Israeli Tommy Fineman in the deciding rack (race 3-5) to seal an impressive performance on the night.

Our Runner-Up reached his second final in the space of just 24 hours, but again had to settle for minor honours and 3000 baht.

Staff member Gan Kanchana Chinboot and local Thai Tom Chukiat Sittipong reached the semi-finals, taking home 1500 baht each.

Champion : James (A+5) – 6000 baht.

Runner-Up : Tommy (A+8) – 3000 baht.

Semi-finals : Gan (A+5) and Tom (A+4) – 1500 baht each.

Quarter-finals : Colin Cooke (A+7), Dieter Simon (A+3), Peter Jiskoot (A+2), and Nik Nucharee Vichuma (A+2) – 500 baht each.

Player Auction Results (Pot Total 28000 baht) :

1st : Vincent Coleman (James) – 8000 baht.

2nd : Tommy (Himself) – 5800 baht.

Equal 3rd : Olly (Gan) and Mike Bkk (Tom) – 3200 baht each.

Equal 5th : Barrie (Colin), Carlo (Dieter), and Peter (Nik and Himself) – 1600 baht each.
