England’s Jeff Johnson made a winning return to action at Megabreak on Thursday night to claim victory in our 9 Ball Comp.
Playing here for the first time since February last year, and from a total entry of 33, he went all the way to the 1st Prize of 6000 baht.
In the final he beat in-form German Dietmar Ptak by 6 racks to 1 (race 6-3), and his handicap now moves up to A+8 as a result.
Dietmar continued his recent run of good form to reach his second final in the space of just 48 hours before finding the Englishman in top form, and took home 3000 baht for his efforts.
His handicap now moves back up to A+4 as a result.
Finland’s Antti Fabre and Thai girl Emy Muthita Thaitonglong both played well to reach the semi-finals, collecting 1500 baht each.
Champion : Jeff (A+7) – 6000 baht.
Runner-Up : Dietmar (A+3) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Antti (A+8) and Emy (A+3) – 1500 baht each.
Quarter-finals : Cato (A+8), Andy Sandford (A+6), Seamus Delahunty (A+3), and Joy Misaki Oralab (A+1) – 500 baht each.
