Thurs 02-01 : Got Wins

Our first 9 Ball Competition of the new year had an unbelievable turn out of 49 players and was won by staff member Got Watchara Pongsai.

Due to the high entry we played slightly shorter races than usual, but that did not phase the Thai man as his game continues to improve at a rapid rate.

He did lose his very first match of the evening in the groups though, before raising his game to win seven matches on the spin and pocket the 1st Prize of 8000 baht.

In the final he beat an in form Tom Fossum from Norway by 3 racks to 1 (race 3-6) to seal another impressive performance.

Tom, the highest handicapped player on the evening, played some excellent pool to reach the final, only losing 4 racks out of 51 played over six matches, and collected 4500 baht as Runner-Up.

Thai girls Aom Nantaporn Chomthaisong and Beer Juntra Malison both played well to reach the semi-finals, taking home 2500 baht each.
