Thur 28-11 : Tuk Wins


Local Thai girl Tuk Richmond continued her recent run of success to win her second 9 Ball Competition in the space of just two weeks on Thursday night.

From another excellent entry of 33, she beat new player Jeremy Machi from The USA in the deciding rack of the final (race 4-5) to collect the 1st Prize of 6000 baht, and her handicap now moves up to A+5 for the first time.

Jeremy played well to reach the final in his first time with us before losing out by the narrowest of margins, and pocketed 3000 baht in 2nd Place.

His handicap also moves up by one rack to A+6.

Two other in form players reached the semi-finals, Tuesday’s 10 Ball champion Go Hongyok and multiple winner in recent weeks “Snake” Vesa Kulmala.

They each took home 1500 baht for their efforts.

Champion : Tuk (A+4) – 6000 baht.

Runner-Up : Jeremy (A+5) – 3000 baht.

Semi-finals : Snake (A+12) and Go (A+5) – 1500 baht each.

Quarter-finals : Jens Ketzer (A+7), Melanie Ayaydin (A+6), Tim Zee (A+4) and Beer (A+2) – 500 baht each.

Player Auction Results (Pot Total 22900 baht) :

1st : Tommy Fineman (Tuk) – 9200 baht.

2nd : Brooksey Brooks (Jeremy) – 6500 baht.

Equal 3rd : Peter Nielsen (Snake) and Myself (Go) – 3000 baht each.
