THURSDAY 9 BALL – JANUARY 23rd : GO WINS AGAIN.
Thai – Japanese regular Go Hongyok continued his rich vein of form on Thursday night to win our 9 Ball Competition for the second consecutive week.
From another superb entry of 35, he beat staff member Got Watchara Pongsai in the final, 4-4 in racks (race 4-6) to pocket the 1st Prize of 6000 baht.
He lost his very first game of the night in the groups before finding his form to win seven matches on the spin and claim victory.
Got played consistently well to reach the final before finding the handicap just too much against our winner, and took home 3000 baht in 2nd Place.
Got’s fellow staff member Gan Kanchana Chinboot and Markus Nolberczak from Germany both reached the semi-finals, collecting 1500 baht each.
Champion : Go (A+5) – 6000 baht.
Runner-Up : Got (A+7) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Gan (A+5) and Markus (A+5) – 1500 baht each.
Quarter-finals : Mischa Cromen (A+10), Benny (A+10), Vidar (A+3), and Oli (A+1) – 750 baht each.
