Sun 25-11 : Tom Wins

Norway’s Tom Fossum made a successful return to action last weekend to win our Sunday 9 Ball Competition.

Having only landed back on Thai soil 48 hours earlier, and playing with a new cue, he played consistently well all night to lift the trophy and take home the 1st Prize of 5000 baht.

From a total entry of 23 players, he defeated Hannu Torpström from Finland in the final to seal victory with a very impressive performance.

Hannu continued his recent run of good form to reach the final before finding Tom too hot to handle, and collected 2500 baht as Runner-Up.

The other money winners on the evening were Gian Cabella from Italy and England’s Johnny Whitley, who each pocketed 1250 baht as losing semi-finalists.

The latter’s handicap is now increased to A+4 as a result.

Champion : Tom (A+12) – 5000 baht.
Runner-Up : Hannu (A+2) – 2500 baht.
Semi-finals : Gian (A+3) and Johnny (A+3) – 1250 baht each.

The Player Auction Prize Fund totalled 19800 baht and was won by Adam Lux.

He paid 1100 baht for Tom, and they shared the 1st Payout of 8000.

1st : Adam (Tom) – 8000 baht.
2nd : Hannu (Himself) – 5600 baht.
Equal 3rd : Johnny (Gian) and Olly (Johnny) – 2600 baht each.
