SUNDAY 9 BALL – MARCH 8th : TINNIE WINS.
Sunday’s 9 Ball Competition was won by Australian MIchael “Tinnie” Handley.
Playing here for just the third time, and having already won our 9 ball event two weeks ago in only his second tournament with us, he showed more improvement in his game to go all the way to the 1st Prize of 5000 baht.
From a total entry of 30, he beat Sweden’s Stig Olsson in the final by 4 racks to 3 (race 4-6) to seal the win.
His handicap moves up to A+5 as a result.
Stig played well to reach the final and pocketed 3000 baht as Runner-Up.
Thai man Bas Thana Moolsuk and Peter Nielsen from Denmark both reached the semi-finals, taking home 1500 baht each.
Champion : Tinnie (A+4) – 5000 baht.
Runner-Up : Stig (A+6) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Bas (A+10) and Peter (A+6) – 1500 baht each.
Quarter-finals : Kari Laine (A+15), Tommy Fineman (A+8), Oran (A+7), and Lucas Baranji (A+4) – 500 baht each.
