Sunday’s 9 Ball Competition saw a first ever Megabreak victory for Jape Lappetelainen from Finland.
Playing here for the 30th time and after two previous 2nd place finishes in 2018, he finally got his head in front to record a well deserved win.
From a total entry of 33, he beat Norway’s Stig Berntsen in the final by 5 racks to 2 (race 5-4) to claim the 1st Prize of 6000 baht.
His handicap now moves up to A+7 as a result.
Stig played well to reach the final before finding our champion on top form and took away 3000 baht in 2nd.
Two local Thai’s, Preecha and Nik Nucharee Vichuma reached the semi-finals, collecting 1500 baht each.
Champion : Jape (A+6) – 6000 baht.
Runner-Up : Stig (A+5) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Preecha (Pro) and Nik (A+2) – 1500 baht each.
Quarter-finals : Jari Rautio (A+6), Gerhard Schebler (A+4), LisaLisa Sureeratpornnoon (A+4), and Barry Johnston (A+3) – 500 baht each.
