Congratulations go to Finnish professional Kimi Laaksonen for winning our Tuesday 10 Ball Grand Final for Season 23 on Saturday night.
From the full entry of 16 players he was at the top of his game all night long to come through a tough field and pocket the 1st Prize of 10500 baht.
He did suffer one defeat during the Double Elimination format though, losing his second match of the night to England’s Andy Hall.
From then on he played some superb pool to win six consecutive matches and claim victory.
In the final he beat Israel’s Tommy Fineman by 8 racks to 1 to seal a very impressive performance.
Tommy continued his recent run of good form to win four straight matches and reach the final before finding the Finnish pro too hot to handle, and took home 6000 baht in 2nd Place.
Next in line was Brooksey Brooks from England, playing well to finish in 3rd Place, and he was closely followed by the aforementioned Andy Hall in 4th.
They collected 4500 and 3000 baht each for their efforts.
Champion : Kimi (Pro+) – 10500 baht.
Runner-Up : Tommy (A+8) – 6000 baht.
3rd Place : Brooksey (A+7) – 4500 baht.
4th Place : Andy (A+5) – 3000 baht.
Equal 5th : Vincent Coleman (A+11) and Markus Nolberczak (A+4) – 2000 baht each.
Equal 7th : Nam (A+13) and Adam Lux (A+5) – 1000 baht each.
