Congratulations go to Germany’s Markus Nolberczak for winning our Thursday 9 Ball Grand Final for Season 26 on Saturday night.
From the full field of 16 players he beat Norway’s Stig Berntsen in the final to pocket the 1st Prize of 10500 baht.
He did suffer defeat to our eventual Runner-Up in the Winners Side Final earlier in the evening, but gained his revenge by beating the Norwegian in two sets of the final (race 4-6) to lift the trophy.
His handicap now moves back up to A+5 as a result.
Stig played well to reach the final before coming unstuck against the German and took home 6000 baht in 2nd.
Next in line came local Thai girl Nid Mirantee Phukthamt who finished third and she was closely followed in fourth by fellow Thai girl Nan Nannygirl Dajan.
They collected 4500 and 3000 baht each for their efforts.
Champion : Markus (A+4) – 10500 baht..
Runner-Up : Stig (A+6) – 6000 baht.
3rd Place : Nid (A+5) – 4500 baht.
4th Place : Nan (A+4) – 3000 baht.
Equal 5th : Tommy Fineman (A+8) and Qing Zhang (A+3) – 2000 baht each.
Equal 7th : Got (A+7) and Jimmy Schmitt (A+5) – 1000 baht each.
