Tues 23-01 : Cato Wins


This week’s 10 Ball Champion is Cato Josefsen from Norway.

From a total entry of 28 players from 13 different countries, he defeated England’s Paul Butcher in Tuesday’s final by 4 racks to 3 (race 4-8) to pocket the 1st Prize of 6000 baht.

He played very well to remain undefeated all night long, winning six consecutive matches, and his handicap moves up to A+7 as a result.

Paul played as consistent as always to reach the final, and collected 3000 baht in 2nd Place.

Estonian professional Denis Grabe, and Andy Hall from England were the other money winners on the evening, taking home 1500 baht each for reaching the semi-finals.

Champion : Cato (A+6) – 6000 baht.
Runner-Up : Paul (A+10) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Denis (Pro+) and Andy (A+4) – 1500 baht each.

The Player Auction Prize Fund totalled 40300 baht, and was won by Heikki Nikunen from Finland.

He bought Cato for 1000 baht and received the 1st Payout of 11300.

1st (28%) : Heikki (Cato) – 11300 baht.
2nd (22%) : Russell Masciotti (Paul B) – 9000 baht.
Equal 3rd (13%) : Brooksey Brooks (Denis) and Andy Hall (Himself) – 5200 baht each.
Equal 5th (6%) : Zana Anwar (Dave Chalmers), Miikka Karila (Russell), Brooksey (Peter Pellack), and Albert Gringhuis (The Field) – 2400 baht each.
