TUESDAY 10 BALL – 20th FEBRUARY : TAMMI WINS.
Petri Tamminen from Finland is our 10 Ball Champion for this week.
He played very well throughout Tuesday competition to win six consecutive matches and claim the 1st Prize of 5000 baht.
From a total entry of 21 players from 10 different countries, he defeated Germany’s Markus Nolberczak in the final by 9 racks to 1 (race 9-3).
Markus got off to the best possible start in the final, taking the first rack, before Tammi stepped up a gear to reel off nine successive racks and seal the win.
His handicap now moves up to A+9 as a result.
Markus played well to reach his first ever 10 Ball Final before running into Tammi, and took home 2500 baht as Runner-Up.
Sunday’s 9 Ball competition finalists, Renè Heiniger from Switzerland and Jeff Johnson from England both continued their recent runs of good form to reach the semi-finals, pocketing 1000 baht each.
Champion : Tammi (A+8) – 5000 baht.
Runner-Up : Markus (A+) – 2500 baht.
Semi-finals : Rene (A+8) and Jeff (A+6) – 1000 baht each.
The Player Auction Prize Pot totaled 25900 baht and was won by Tammi’s fellow countryman, Jape Lappetelainen.
He paid 1500 baht for our champion, and bagged the 1st Payout of 10100.
1st (40%) : Jape (Tammi) – 10100 baht.
2nd (30%) : Markus (Himself) – 7800 baht.
Equal 3rd (15%) : Pedro (Rene + Jeff) – 4000 baht twice.
