“Snake” Vesa Kulmala from Finland is this week’s 10 Ball Champion.
His was in top form on Tuesday to stay undefeated all night long whilst winning six separate matches, and collect the 1st Prize of 6500 baht.
From another great entry of 28 players from 13 different countries, he defeated Filipino professional Roland Garcia in the final, 3-6 in racks (race 3-8), and his handicap moves up to A+9 as a result.
Roland played some superb pool to reach the final before finding the handicap too much to claw back against Snake, and took home 3500 baht in 2nd Place.
Andy Hall from England and Adam Lux from Australia were the other money winners on the evening, receiving 1500 baht each for reaching the semi-finals.
Winner : Snake (A+8) – 6500 baht.
Runner-Up : Roland (Pro+) – 3500 baht.
Semi-finals : Andy (A+4) and Adam (A+1) – 1500 baht each.
The Player Auction Prize Fund totalled 21900 baht and was won by our champion.
He turned a good night into a great one by buying himself for 1400 baht, and adding another 8700 to his winnings on the evening.
1st (40%) : Snake (Himself) – 8700 baht.
2nd (30%) : Spencer (Roland) – 6600 baht.
Equal 3rd (15%) : Tommy Fineman (Andy) and Russell Masciotti (Adam) – 3300 baht each.
