Thurs 17-05 : Tukta Wins

It seems that the Thai girls are finding the winning habit again, as we had another female winner on Thursday for our 9 Ball Competition.

Tukta Juppejup playing off her A+2 handicap, who amazingly has not won a tournament here since November 2015, went all the way to collect the 1st Prize of 6000 baht.

She lost her very first match of the night in the group stages, before finding her form to win her next five matches and lift the trophy.

In the final she beat Germany’s Jimmy Schmitt, who’s handicap has recently moved back down to A+4, by 4 racks to 3 (race 4-6), and her handicap now moves up to A+3 for the first time as a result.

Jimmy played very well to reach the final undefeated, and took home 3000 baht as Runner-Up.

Champion : Tukta (A+2) – 6000 baht.
Runner-Up : Jimmy (A+4) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Tommy Fineman (A+7) and Nok Yung (A+3) – 1500 baht each.

The Player Auction Prize Fund totalled 29800 baht, and was won for the second consecutive tournament by Tommy Fineman.

He bought Tukta for 1200 baht, and they shared the 1st Payout of 9000 baht.

1st (30%) : Tommy (Tukta) – 9000 baht.
2nd (22%) : Jay-r (Jimmy) – 6400 baht.
Equal 3rd (12%) : Jay-r (Tommy) and Tommy (Nok) – 3600 baht each.
Equal 5th (6%) : Me (Eran), Heiko Kadel (Jay-r), Jp Van der Kam (Aapo Pariola), and Gerhard Schebler (Tarn Sujitra) – 1800 baht each.
