Thurs 16-08 : Tom Wins

Last night’s 9 Ball Competition gave us a “first time” winner, with Tommy Moore from The USA going all the way to the 1st Prize of 5000 baht.

Playing here for just the seventh time, he lost his second match of the evening in the groups, before winning four consecutive matches to claim victory.

In the final he beat the ever consistent Daniel Levadi from Germany, 3-5 in racks (race 3-8) to lift the trophy.

Daniel continued his recent run of good form to reach the final, before finding the handicap too much against Tom, and pocketed 2500 baht as Runner-Up.

The other money winners on the night were two Thai girls, Nid Mirantee Phukthamt and May Unchalee Sakcomduang, who each took home 1250 baht as losing semi-finalists.

Champion : Tom M (A+1) – 5000 baht.
Runner-Up : Daniel (A+8) – 2500 baht.
Semi-finals : Nid (A+5) and May (A) – 1250 baht each.

The Player Auction Prize Fund totalled 23800 baht, and was won by Gerhard Schebler.

He managed to get Tom for just 600 baht, and they shared the 1st Payout of 9400.

1st (40%) : Gerhard (Tom) – 9400 baht.
2nd (30%) : Par Radardow Inamka (Daniel) – 7200 baht.
Equal 3rd (15%) : Markus Nolberczak (Nid) and Par (May) – 3600 baht each.
