Thurs 10-05 : Jp Wins


We had a “Double Dutch” Combo-fest at Megabreak for this weeks Thursday 9 Ball Competition.

From another great turn out of 31 players, two of our Dutch players, Albert Gringhuis and his friend Jp Van der Kam smashed their way through the opposition to win five consecutive matches each and reach the final to play each other.

And in the final it was Jp who had the upper hand, winning by 5 racks to 1 (race 5-4) to collect the 1st Prize of 5500 baht.

His handicap now moves up to A+3 for the very first time as a result.

Albert had to settle for 2nd Place this time and 3000 baht.

Two Thai girls, Nok Yung and Tarn Sujhitra both reached the semi-finals, taking home 1500 baht each.

Champion : Jp (A+2) – 5500 baht.
Runner-Up : Albert (A+1) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Nok (A+3) and Tarn (A+1) – 1500 baht each.
Quarter-finals : Tom B (A+10), Aapo Pariola (A+4), Ernst (A+3), and Aom Nantaporn Chomthaisong (A+4) – 500 baht each.

The Player Auction Prize Fund totalled 40100 baht and was yet again won by “Calcutta King” Dominique Zagouri from israel.

He paid 1500 baht for Jp, and bagged the 1st Payout of 11900.

1st (30%) : Dominic (Jp) – 11900 baht.
2nd (22%) : Adam Lux (Albert) – 8600 baht.
Equal 3rd (12%) : Tommy Fineman (Nok) and Russell Masciotti (Tarn) – 5000 baht each.
Equal 5th (6%) : Dominic (Field x 2 and Ernst), and Olly Downey (Aom) – 2400 baht each.
