Thurs 05-10 : Andy Wins


England’s Andy Hall, one of our regular Tuesday 10 Ball players, made a rare appearance in last night’s 9 Ball Competition, and went all the way to lift the trophy and take home the 1st Prize of 6000 baht.

From another superb entry of 31 players from 13 different countries, he defeated Bo Andersson from Sweden in the final, 4-4 in racks (race 4-6).

He played well to stay undefeated all night long through six separate matches, and was a worthy winner.

Bo, returning to Megabreak after an 8 month lay off, showed an increased level of play to reach the final, and collected 3500 baht as Runner-Up.
His handicap now moves up to A+7 as a result.

Sunday’s champion Dean Kasitz from England was again involved at the business end of the tournament, reaching the semi-finals along with Dante Sison from The Philippines, and they each received 1500 baht prize money.

Winner : Andy (A+4) – 6000 baht.
Runner-Up : Bo (A+6) – 3500 baht.
Semi-finals : Dean (A+5) and Dante (A+4) – 1500 baht each.
Quarter-finals : Jay-r Punzalan (A+7), Billy Hayes (A+7), Nok Yung (A+4), and Tum Supasut Panitchop (A+3) – 500 baht each.

The Player Auction continues to create enormous interest, producing another massive Prize Pool of 22700 baht, and was won by our champion, Andy.

He turned a good night into a great one by buying himself in the auction for 700 baht, and adding another 9100 to his winnings.

1st (40%) : Andy (Himself) – 9100 baht.
2nd (30%) : Jens (Bo) – 6800 baht.
Equal 3rd (15%) : Jens (Dean) – 3400 baht.
Equal 3rd (15%) : Scott (Dante) – 3400 baht.
