Thurs 02-11 : Nid Wins

A victory for the girls on Thursday night as Nid Mirantee Phukthamt won our 9 Ball Competition.

As a prelude to our High Roller starting the next day, we opened up the tournament to all handicap levels which made for another great entry of 33 players.

And after Nid lost her very first match of the evening in the Group Stages, she upped her game to win six consecutive matches and lift the trophy to record her 5th win during 2017.

In the final she beat Filipino professional, Arnel Bautista by 3 racks to 2 (race 3-8) to collect the 1st Prize of 6000 baht.

Arnel played well to reach the final before running into Nid, and took home 3500 baht in 2nd Place.

Hannu Torpström from Finland and Thomas Leonardic from Germany both reached the semi-finals, receiving 2000 baht each.

Winner : Nid (A+4) – 6000 baht.

He bought six of the 33 players, but his gamble paid off as he took home the payouts for 1st and 2nd place.
