Thurs 01-11 : Bandit Wins


Congratulations go to local Thai player Bandit Sribura for winning our 9 Ball Competition on Thursday night.

Playing here for the 20th time, and from a total entry of 28 players, he won his first competition with us to pocket the 1st Prize of 5000 baht.

And yet again, he was another player to lose his very first match of the evening in the groups, before finding his form to win five straight matches and lift the trophy.

In the final he beat Norway’s Bjørn Bratteberg, 4-4 in racks (race 4-7) to claim victory.

Bjorn was another player to suffer a first match defeat of the evening, but then also won five matches to reach the final, and took home 3000 baht in 2nd Place.

Two English players, Barrie Sherman and Johnny Whitley both played well to reach the semi-finals, and collected 1000 baht prize money each.

Champion : Bandit (A+3) – 5000 baht.
Runner-Up : Bjorn (A+6) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Barrie (A+7) and Johnny (A+3) – 1000 baht each.
Quarter-finals : Mischa Cromen (A+10), Jimmy Schmitt (A+5), Nok Yung (A+4), and Markus Nolberczak (A+2) – 500 baht each.

The Player Auction Prize Pot totalled 26300 baht and was won by Tommy Fineman.

He paid only 700 baht to get Bandit onside, and they shared the 1st Payout of 7600.

1st : Tommy (Bandit) – 7600 baht.
2nd : Johnny (Bjorn) – 5000 baht.
Equal 3rd : Barrie (Himself) and Adam Lux (Johnny) – 3000 baht each.
Equal 5th : Mischa (Himself), Jens Ketzer (Jimmy), Me (Nok), and Markus (Himself) – 1600 baht each.
