Sunday Top 16 : Per Wins

SUNDAY 9 BALL GRAND FINAL : PER IS CHAMPION.

Congratulations go to Per Makitalo (A+2) from Sweden for winning our Sunday 9 Ball Grand Final for Season 11 on Saturday night.
From a full entry of 16 players from 10 different countries, he defeated Nittha Punsuk (A) from Thailand in the final to collect the 1st prize of 10500 baht.
Per played very well throughout the competition, and was a deserved winner. He did have to beat Nittha twice in the final though, because she had qualified through the winners side of the draw.
In the first set, he managed to win the last 3 racks to record a hill hill 6-2 win, before a more comfortable 6-1 scoreline in the second set sealed victory.
His handicap now moves up to A+3 as a result.
Nittha also played well during the tournament, and received the Runners-Up prize of 6000 baht. Her handicap is also increased to A+.
Albert Gringhuis (A+) once again performed admirably in a Grand Final event to finish 3rd, taking home 4000 baht, with Tuk Richmond (A+2) playing well to finish 4th, collecting 3000 baht.
In equal 5th place were John Weber (A+1) and Robert Goodfellow (A+1), who each received 2000 baht, and in equal 7th place were Dan Bjorling (A) and Patrick Fierens (A) who each took home 1000 baht.
