Sun 29-10 : Gerhard Wins

Last night’s 9 Ball Competition was won by Germany’s Gerhard Schebler.

It was another great turnout of 31 players who took their chance, which saw Gerhard defeat Dan Björling from Sweden in the deciding rack of the final (race 5-4) to collect the 1st Prize of 6000 baht.

Dan, returning to action at Megabreak for the first time in seven months, lost out by the narrowest of margins in the final, and had to settle for 3500 baht as Runner-Up.

Another player returning from a lengthy absence (six months) was Rick Jones from The USA, who played well to reach the semi-finals along with Aom Nantaporn Chomthaisong from Thailand, and they each received 1500 baht prize money.

Rick’s handicap now moves up to A+7 as a result.

Winner : Gerhard (A+2) – 6000 baht.
Runner-Up : Dan (A+1) – 3500 baht.
