Sun 26-11 : Erik Wins

Last night’s 9 Ball Competition saw victory for new player Erik Dornick from Germany.

Having lost his very first match of the evening in the deciding rack to Russell Masciotti from The USA, he raised his game to win six consecutive matches and take home the 1st Prize of 5500 baht.

His game progressed as the tournament went on, and in the final he would have his revenge on Russell, beating him comfortably by 6 racks to 1 (race 6-5).

His handicap moves up to A+9 as a result.

Russell played some of his best pool to reach the final before running into Erik, and collected 3000 baht as Runner-Up.

Charlie Ayres from England reached his second consecutive semi-final, along with Israel’s Tommy Fineman, and they each pocketed 1500 baht.

Champion : Erik (A+7) – 5500 baht.
Runner-Up : Russell (A+6) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Tommy (A+7) and Charlie (A+6) – 1500 baht each.
