SUNDAY 9 BALL – 24th MARCH : TOMMY WINS.
Israel’s Tommy Fineman was back in the winners enclosure for the first time in six months on Sunday night to win our 9 Ball Competition.
From a total entry of 25 players, he beat Finland’s Hannu Torpström in the final by 9 racks to 2 (race 9-4) to claim the 1st Prize of 5000 baht.
He was on top form all evening, winning six consecutive matches without defeat, ending up a worthy winner.
Hannu also played well to reach the final and pocketed 3000 baht as Runner-Up.
The other money winners on the night were Mohammad Aslebaroupaz from Iran and local Thai girl Nik Nucharee Vichuma, who each collected 1250 baht as losing semi-finalists
Champion : Tommy (A+8) – 5000 baht.
Runner-Up : Hannu (A+3) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Mohammad (A+6) and Nik (A+2) – 1250 baht each.
The Player Auction Prize Pot totalled 21900 baht and was dominated by our Runner-Up Hannu.
He bought both himself and Tommy for a combined total of 2300 baht, and added an extra 10200 to his winnings on the night.
1st : Hannu (Tommy) – 8400 baht.
2nd : Hannu (Himself) – 6000 baht.
Equal 3rd : Fon (Mohammad) and Jamie Brooks (Nik) – 3200 baht each.
