SUNDAY 9 BALL – 12th MAY : AAPO WINS.

Finland’s Aapo Pariola won his first competition with us on Sunday night, lifting our 9 Ball trophy.

From a total entry of 29 players, he went one better than his performance the week before (Runner-Up), defeating local Thai girl Nik Nucharee Vichuma in the final by 5 racks to 2 (race 5-4), to collect the 1st Prize of 6000 baht.

His handicap now moves up to A+4 as a result.

Consolation for Nik as Runner-Up was in the form of 3500 baht.

Vincent Coleman from Ireland continued his recent run of great form to reach the semi-finals, along with Gerhard Schebler from Germany and they each pocketed 1500 baht.

Champion : Aapo (A+3) – 6000 baht.

Runner-Up : Nik (A+2) – 3500 baht.

Semi-finals : Vincent (A+10) and Gerhard (A+3) – 1500 baht each.

The Player Auction Prize Pot totalled 37500 baht and was won by Megabreak staff member Gan Kanchana Chinboot.

She bought Aapo for 1700 baht, and with him declining the 50-50 split option, she bagged all of the 1st Payout of 10400 herself.

1st : Gan (Aapo) – 10400 baht.

2nd : Gary Kuhnel (Nik) – 7600 bht.

Equal 3rd : Matthew Posadas (Vincent) and Craig Jones (Gerhard) – 4400 baht each.

Equal 5th : Craig (Nok Yung), Hannu Torpström (Adam Lux and Himself), and Tommy Fineman (Denis Husson) – 2200 baht each.
