Sun 10-12 : Tum Wins


Sunday’s 9 Ball Competition saw victory for Thailand’s Tum Supasut Panitchop.

From a total entry of 26 players from 16 different countries, he beat Tommy Fineman from Israel in the final by 4 racks to 3 (race 4-7) to collect the 1st Prize of 5500 baht.

He lost his very first match of the evening in the group stages, before raising his game to win six consecutive matches and lift the trophy.

Tommy also needed two lives to qualify through the groups, and took home 3000 baht as Runner-Up.

The American pair of Mike Berezovsky and Jeff Schmitt both reached the semi-finals, receiving 1250 baht each.

Champion : Tum (A+4) – 5500 baht.
Runner-Up : Tommy (A+7) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Mike B (A+6) and Jeff (A+3) – 1250 baht each.

The Player Auction continues to get bigger week after week, and created a Prize Pool of 30700.

Tum turned a good night into a great one by buying himself for just 800 baht, and adding an extra 9200 to his winnings on the evening.

1st (30%) : Tum (Himself) – 9200 baht.
2nd (22%) : Andy Hall (Tommy) – 6700 baht.
Equal 3rd (12%) : Jeff Schmitt (Mike) and Nittha Punsuk (Jeff) – 3800 baht each.
Equal 5th (6%) : Hannu Torpström (Snake), Olly Downey (Dennis Presiloski), Peter Nielsen (Adam Lux), and Heikki Nikunen (Markus) – 1800 baht each.
