SUNDAY 9 BALL – 10th NOVEMBER : SNAKE WINS AGAIN.
Finland’s Vesa “Snake” Kulmala continued his rich vein of form last night to win his second 9 Ball Competition in the space of just three days!!
Carrying on from where he left off on Thursday night, he was again undefeated, winning six matches in a row to bag the 1st Prize of 5500 baht.
That’s 12 straight wins now over the last two tournaments, and his handicap rises to A+12 as a result.
In the final he beat Norway’s Ronny Jakobsen in the deciding rack (race 9-5) with an excellent clearance from the 2 ball out to seal victory.
Ronny also played well to reach the final unbeaten before losing out by the narrowest of margins, and took home 3000 baht for his efforts.
His handicap is also increased by one rack to A+8.
The other money winners on the night were birthday boy Jeff Schmitt from The USA and staff member Gan Kanchana Chinboot, who each pocketed 1500 baht for reaching the semi-finals.
Champion : Snake (A+11) – 5500 baht.
Runner-Up : Ronny (A+7) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Jeff (A+5) and Gan (A+5) – 1500 baht each.
