Congratulations go to England’s Jamie Brooks for winning his second 9 Ball Competition in the space of three weeks on Sunday night.
From a good entry of 31 players, he beat Mike Berezovsky from New York, USA in the final by 6 racks to 4 (straight race to 6) to collect the 1st Prize of 5500 baht.
He lost his very first match of the evening in the groups, before finding his form to win six consecutive matches and lift the trophy.
His handicap now moves up to A+10 as a result.
Mike showed some good form to reach the final before falling just short against Jamie, and took home 3000 baht in 2nd Place.
The Scandinavian pairing of Harry Arefjell (Norway) and Hannu Torpström(Finland) both made the semi-finals, pocketing 1500 baht each.
Champion : Jamie (A+9) – 5500 baht.
Runner-Up : Mike (A+9) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Harry (A+4) and Hannu (A+3) – 1500 baht each.
Quarter-finals : Me (Pro+), Sam Lowe (A+7), Matti Gateau (A+3) and Nik Nucharee Vichuma (A+2) – 500 baht each.
The Player Auction Prize Pot totalled 32500 baht and was won by Colin Cooke.
He paid 1000 baht for our champion, and they shared the 1st Payout of 9400.

2nd : Tommy (Mike) – 7000 baht.
Equal 3rd : Gerhard (Harry) and Hannu (Himself) – 3600 baht each.
