Sun 07-07 : Nok Wins


Sunday’s 9 Ball Competition saw victory for the girls, with local Thai Nok Yung claiming her first win since her handicap was increased to A+5 one month ago.

She lost her very first game of the evening in the groups, before finding her form to win five consecutive matches and pocket the 1st Prize of 4000 baht.

In the final she beat Israel’s Tommy Fineman, 4-5 in racks (race 4-8) to seal the win.

Consolation for Tommy as Runner-Up was in the form of 2000 baht.

The other money winners on the evening were top Thai female player Nam Pennipa Nakjui and England’s Sam Lowe, who each collected 500 baht as losing semi-finalists.

Champion : Nok (A+5) – 4000 baht.

Runner-Up : Tommy (A+9) – 2000 baht.

Semi-finals : Nam (A+12) and Sam (A+7) – 500 baht each.

The Player Auction Prize Fund totalled 13800 baht and was won by me!!

I paid the minimum 800 baht for our winner, and bagged the 1st Payout of 5200.

1st : Me (Nok) – 5200 baht.

2nd : Tommy (Himself) – 4000 baht.

Equal 3rd : Nam (Herself) and Sam (Himself) – 2000 baht each.
