Sun 05-08 : Markus Wins


Germany’s Markus Nolberczak was the winner of our Sunday 9 Ball tournament earlier this week.

From a field of 23 players from 12 different countries, he played well all night long to win all six of his matches and scoop the 1st Prize of 5000 baht.

In the final he comfortably beat Joy Labora from The Philippines by 4 racks to 1 (race 4-5) and his handicap moves back up to A+1 as a result.

Joy also played well to reach the final, before finding Markus too strong, and pocketed 2500 baht as Runner-Up.

The other money winners on the night were Thailand’s Nok Yung and Markus’ fellow countryman Gerhard Schebler who each took home 1250 baht as losing semi-finalists.

Champion : Markus (A+) – 5000 baht.
Runner-Up : Joy (A+1) – 2500 baht.
Semi-finals : Nok (A+3) and Gerhard (A+2) – 1250 baht each.

The Player Auction Prize Fund created one of the biggest Prize Pots in recent weeks at 26200 baht, and was won by Tommy Fineman.

He paid 1000 baht for our champion, and they shared the 1st Payout of 10200.

1st (40%) : Tommy (Markus) – 10200 baht.
2nd (30%) : Par Radardow Inamka (Joy) – 8000 baht.
Equal 3rd (15%) : Gan Kanchana Chinboot (Nok) and Markus (Gerhard) – 4000 baht each.
