SUNDAY 9 BALL – 5th MAY : NAN WINS.

A victory for the girls in last night’s 9 Ball Competition, with Nan Nannygirl Dajan going all the way to the 1st Prize of 5500 baht.

From a total entry of 26 players from 14 different countries, she beat Finland’s Aapo Pariola in the deciding rack of the final (race to 5).

Aapo, playing in his first final here at the 16th attempt was on the hill first with the score at 4-3, but Nan somehow managed to win the last two racks to claim the win by the narrowest of margins.

Consolation for the Fin was pocketing 3000 baht in 2nd Place.

Japanese player Yohei made his yearly appearance to reach the semi-finals along with Dmitry Cherkesov from Russia, and they took home 1250 baht each.

Champion : Nan (A+3) – 5500 baht.

Runner-Up : Aapo (A+3) – 3000 baht.

Semi-finals : Yohei (A+6) and Dmitry (A+2) – 1250 baht each.

The Player Auction Prize Pot totalled 32900 baht ans was won by Adam Lux.

He paid just 700 baht for our winner and they shared the 1st Payout of 10k.

1st : Adam (Nan) – 10000 baht.

2nd : Me (Aapo) – 6800 baht.

Equal 3rd : Sam Lowe (Yohei) and Olly Downey (Dmitry) – 3600 baht each.

Equal 5th : Matthew Posadas (Vincent), Carsten (Sharon), Me (Dean Kasitz), and Hannu Torpström (Himself) – 1800 baht each.
