SUNDAY 9 BALL – 1st OCTOBER : DEAN WINS.
England’s Dean Kasitz made a successful return to Megabreak to win last night’s 9 Ball Competition.
Playing in his first tournament here for ten months, he went undefeated all night long to win five consecutive matches and lift the trophy.
In the final he defeated Jp Van der Kam in the deciding rack (race 7-4) to collect the 1st Prize of 5500 baht.
He got off to a great start to take a 4-0 lead before the match turned on its head with Jp winning the next three racks and putting himself on the hill at 4-3.
Dean dug deep though, and raised his game to win the next three racks and seal the narrowest of victories.
Jp played well to reach the final, and took home 3000 baht in 2nd Place.
Thailand’s Preecha and Nelson Tyler from The USA were the other money winners on the evening, both receiving 1000 baht for reaching the semi-finals.
Winner : Dean Kasitz (A+5) – 5500 baht.
Runner-Up : Jp (A+2) – 3000 baht.
Semi-finals : Preecha (A+20) and Nelson (A+) – 1000 baht each.
The Player Auction created yet another great Prize Pool of 17300 baht, and was won by our champion Dean.
He bought himself for 600 baht, and added an extra 6900 baht to his winnings on the evening.

2nd (30%) : Albert (Jp) – 5200 baht.
Equal 3rd (15%) : Gerhard (Preecha) – 2600 baht.
