Jp Van der Kam from The Netherlands was the winner of last night’s 9 Ball Competition.
Playing in his last tournament here before returning to his native country, he was on top form all night long to win five matches without suffering defeat and bag the 1st Prize of 4500 baht.
From a total entry of 21 players from 12 different countries, he beat Dawood Ryami from Oman in the deciding rack of the final (race 4-8) to seal an impressive performance on the night.
Dawood, playing here for just the seventh time, played well to reach his first final with us before losing out by the narrowest of margins, and took home 2500 baht as Runner-Up.
Daniel Levadi returned from Germany for the first time in 13 months to reach the semi-finals, along with Alex Efremov from Russia, and they each pocketed 1250 baht.
Champion : Jp (A+3) – 4500 baht.
Runner-Up : Dawood (A+7) – 2500 baht.
Semi-finals : Daniel (A+9) and Alex (A+7) – 1250 baht each.
